OFF TOPIC:

Fished the South Bosque from 7:45 to 8:45 AM on Friday morning without a bite.

Fished The Steps from 10 AM to 2 PM on Friday and caught 61.

Fished The Narrows Recreation area on Lake Travis this morning and didn't get a bite. Note, They have temporarily closed the park. The gate was locked up so I had to park outside the gate and walk in.

I checked out the creeks at noon today.
Yegua didn't really seem to have come up much. It was just muddier.
Nails came up only slightly and was muddier. Talked to a few people who had caught about 6. Same thing, early morning bite, then it went dead.
Cedar Creek was up, muddy and flowing hard. Maybe this will kick off some type of run on Cedar.
Jerdelle was up a bit, a bit muddier and backed up at the bridge.

Lake Level is 237.53 feet. 0.47 foot below normal.

Just remember, it takes about 24 hours for the yegua to show signs of a rise after a good rain. West Yegua rain shed received about 3/4 of an inch last night. Only going by what fell at my place.

Thanks for the report, J-Moe. Probably headed out that way tomorrow, for better or worse. Just hope I don't get skunked.

Good luck tomorrow. You might want to check out Cedat creek. It will probably be loaded with fish tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, will probably give Cedar a try, and possibly Nails or Irwin Bridge.

You are correct Master. The Yegua did come up some more. Nails came up even more (about 2 feet) and the fishing really picked back up in there today. Lot's of good stringers. I caught about 15 then went over to try Cedar. I fished the holes just upstream of the bridge but didn't get a bite.

They haven't been releasing very much from the dams the past few weeks, I guess because of the flood stages downstream.

Fished Nails today and caught 9 white bass and one crappie. Like J-Moe said, good flow and good conditions right now. FISHINGFOOL, nice meeting you out there today. Glad I was finally able to get out and catch a few!
