Careful looks like that's a risk to blowing your nads off Could be, but it is a standard defensive position. One of the first taught to Seals in BUDS.

Kel Tec makes some turds for sure. So does S&W, Glock, Taurus, Ruger, etc.... Think about this.... Glock in the 80's was the Kel Tec/SCCY/Hi Point of that era.... You can add Sig and Kimber to that list also. Kimber makes beautiful handguns, but there is truth to kimber questionable being their unofficial motto.

And the Sig 320 has a history of going off without any help also. Pete at PGS Precision likes Kel Tec and he is a well know long distance shooter and rifle builder.

Like, Love or hate them, you'd be hard pressed to find a better backpack type carbine than the kel tec sub 2000. Uses standard glock, beretta, or multi ( with mag catch plate installed for mag type). 9mm or .40 S&W, the new gen 3 had optic ready ability without an adapter required. ( I have a gen 2 with a 45 degree offset pic rail for red dot.). They are simple, run well. Folds up nicely. Kel Tec makes a great bull pup shotgun as well. I have an ar pistil with a folder and takedown barrel. It will compact to about 10" in length. It is much heavier than the sub 2k, and I will tote it at times. However around town in a light bag, the sub 2k fits the bill perfectly. Add some 33 round glock sticks and a person is well defended.

The gen 3 turns when it folds back so you can add anything you want ot the top rail and still fold it. Thats why I ordered it. You can also get 50 and 100 round drum mags for it. Im going suppressor on mine and I think I am gonnal like it. I am told that that with a good red dot and magnifier you can get a 1-2 inch spread at 100 yards which is not bad at all for a 9mm. im looking at a Primary Arms SLx MD-25 Rotary Knob 25mm Microdot Gen II with AutoLive - ACSS-CQB Red Dot. The gun only weighs about 4.5 lbs. Im gonna keep it under my seat in the truck if it fits. I have the bullpup survival in 223 also. I really like it. The survival doesnt have pistol grips which means one hand carry. It takes any ar15 mag and has a threaded barrell. I put a firefield scope on it. Firefield is a new Texas company and I really like their products. It shoots as accurately as any ar15. I can also use the suppressor from the gen 3 on the bullpup.
