He posted a video yesterday of an 11 year old client casting to, and landing a 12 pound bass.

Today he posted a guide trip for $2,000 that he immediately booked. People are currently loosing their minds on facebook.

I figured people ought to loose their minds on here too and join in on the fun.

It kills me to see all of the people outraged that he charges that much. Knowing damn well if they could get paid 2k to go fishing everyday they would do it in a heartbeat lol

A guide or anybody selling anything job is to price the service or item so they can sell as many as they can supply in a timely matter. Thats Free enterprise.

Yeah, I don't get it. I would expect to pay top dollar to be trained by the best athlete in the world, so why is this not any different.

If I had $2K that I could put towards a trip w/ JJ, I'd be on his boat and ready to snap some SAL photos.

About the only thing you’ll snap a photo of is him looking down at his livescope. He’s been there since Wednesday and ain’t caught squat. As for that photo of the kid with the 11#. Look at the water color, definitely ain’t Ivie. It’s the mud hole the traveling circus has been beating to death all summer. Back to Ivie, there was 2 other guides with clients on Wednesday and they left butthurt too.

I enjoyed the story of two guys that paid $2000 to fish with JJ. He was way late to meeting them then they sat there while he ate breakfast. Then they finally got on the water and they had to share 1 rod. Fished 2 hours and had to go in for lunch. Then went back for a couple of more hours. They combined 1 14” for $2000 😂
