Will be scouting the area for future possible weekending at Texoma. Anyone have insights on amenities/conveniences such as restaurants, grocery, things to do, etc.? Thanks.

there have been a couple of gtgs here, nice place and good people.

https://www.willowspringsmarina.com/

nothing special in the area for grub, at least that I know of.

the big casino is not far but is pricey food wise, and all the restaurants of durant.

couple of places in kingston but been a long time since I ate at any, used to be a decent mexican food place and the sonic has boat pull thru lanes.

hey, it's Okieland, you get what you get. roflmao

WAWI I've agreed with everything I've seen you post, until now. I've never heard anyone describe Texoma as a horrible lake. I'm guessing you haven't spent anytime on it?

Gonzalez Mexican in Tishomingo is pretty good. Music power couple Blake and Gwen own a restaurant there as well that might be fun - called Red's I believe.

Good news, I think they added a few more since the last time you were there.

The lake hates him. He can't catch anything there.

We had a cabin at Flowing Wells for like 15 years. Couldn't love it more. Nothing else on the lake quite like it.

Obviously you are there for the lake, lots of pretty heavily tree’d roads along the shoreline to build a place. Durant is close enough with everything you need.

I keep my boat at lighthouse. Just let me know if you like catching big fish. Catch a ride with me sometime. I’m not a guide but I can fish that lake
