The lake hates him. He can't catch anything there.

I keep my boat at lighthouse. Just let me know if you like catching big fish. Catch a ride with me sometime. I’m not a guide but I can fish that lake

cheers

Good news, I think they added a few more since the last time you were there.

It's one of the worst bass lakes I have ever been on. Unfortunately I have spent too much time there. But never again

Good Italian place in Durant, well worth the short drive. Roma. We do 3-5 long weekends at Texoma every summer and it's a must-do.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

Plus, you get to say Tishomingo. That’s a win in my book.

Apparently WAWI only fishes bass in Texoma? I don't get that but If you like to catch fish bigger and stronger than the bass fish he goes after lets go. I've got a place there and usually stay 3-5 days at a time when I go.

P.S. WAWI, I've caught some monster smallmouth in some of my striper spots. Always fun catching those.

I'm never chasing crappie because my passion is getting a 20lber from Texoma. I have marked lots of big brush piles on the lake that one day maybe I'll go back to...

Hey what about me?? I started this thread! Notaguide, we’ll change your name to Ismyguide for a day. You can take me fishing. After a day of slaying them, I’ll provide the refreshing adult beverages and you can relax on my new-to-me boat (if it goes through).

alberta creek, south of the RR bridge, coves when the shad are pushed to the back.

bridge rip rap to the main lake all down that bank was my favorite most of the yr. but when you catch the shad being pushed back it can be expensive, have lost 4-5 that just snapped the line. lol

Having spent a few days on the water in the area around Kingston and Texoma State Park I think the lake sucks, too. I'm willing to go back and have my mind changed.

The casino there is the only one I've ever seen where the restaurant closes at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., you have to ante before every hand of blackjack, and the drinks aren't free while playing table games.
