That’s pretty awesome. Definitely put the work in or at least spent the money to have the work done!

We always put out a Christmas display, even tho most Christmases we're not home. When we're home for Christmas we do the 'big' display with DW's 14-15' blue LED tree behind the manger centerpiece. Tree lights up half the county. The ISS or space shuttle could use it as a navigation marker.

My neighbors leave the lights up all year.

I like it. definitely got inspired from Clark Griswold.

We have the glow of weed farm lights here year round

I have a guy down the road and around a corner (1/2 mile away) that does the same except he leaves up just the lights, not the yard decorations. And he has them on most nights all year.

Xmas is just another couple of days off to me...never really got into it. Constant annoying xmas music, getting bugged by co-workers to attend their "really special" xmas church services and so on. So much fake sincerity and good will from people who are pric** the rest of the year. Very few houses in my hood have lights.
