Well the new ones are nicer but Johnny Morris is the fishing equivalent of people with TDS. If it wasn't for Ol' Johnny Ranger would have most likely been on this list. After the last recession it was hemorrhaging money and would have been shuttered by the private equity firm that owned them, kind of like Champion.

Hurst, I'm sure many have never heard of Hurst bass boat. But I had an 18' back in the 70's with a 175 merc. Fast and rode well in rough water. All fiberglass. No carpet anywhere and ugly as &$##$%^

On lake Belton in like 1993 I was fishing near the ramp waiting for my family friend to take me out and saw a bass boat come in that was like gray and jet black with a subtle stripe down the side. I was young but I remember the name on it said clearly: Bass Ninja boats. Never seen another one since but 12 year old me thought it was epic compared to everything else I was seeing including the bass cat I was about to go fishing on.
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

My dad bought a Stratos 201 Pro Elite with a 225 Evinrude brand new in 1997 and sold it in 2015. I grew up learning how to fish on that boat and learning how to drive and unload/load boats.
These days I'd kill to have that rig. I would put new carpet/seats in it, new electronics, rebuild the trailer, etc... Fantastic hull. Dude from Georgia to Houston, TX to come get it. And that old Evinrude ran the day it was sold. Bulletproof outboard

Hydra Sports. Have a 1997 205ER and love it, but it would be nice to have parts and such.

Starfire with a 90 Force. First bass boat I ever owned when I was in high school going into college. Funny thing is, I was ROUGH on that boat. And never broke a thing.

I think sometimes these manufacturers will change a product just to create something new for their customers to want, it didn't have to be better but just different. I worked for a company that did just that with their products. I see that in the archery industry as well. Man that is the truth, Matthews has been doing a circle jerk for 10 years!
