I bought a lower action at the first of the year and just left in a drawer for a few months. Then I bought the rest of the parts online and left them in the box for around six months. I finally put it together a few weeks ago but still haven't shot it.

Lower action?

The lower half. An AR action has an upper and lower that is held together with push pins. The lower is where the serial number is, so it's the only part you have to buy at a pawn shop. Every other part can be ordered online and shipped to your house.
