Deal directly with HB. If you register the product you skip the hassle of waiting on someone else sending it in. My fishing buddy had a rash of failures last year, all and the units were replaced within a week with a newer gen. Don't wait for someone else to do your warranty claims. Not criticizing you at all, just something you learn. When you del with them directly, they will send you the tracking info and you can talk to someone. HB is really good

If you took it straight to the repair center, you probably would have saved between 1 to 2 weeks.

It went straight back to Humminbird, not to a repair shop.

Thank you. I know that now. This is the first Humminbird product I have ever purchased If I have any issues in the future I will use your advice and contact them directly. I can't wait to be able to use the 360 sonar.
I already have FFS on the boat and this is an addition to it. I love how the 360 has such a sharp image of everything.
