I just sold a 22 F250 7.3L. 50 miles down the road pops a check engine light. Cats bad, only 4,000 for the parts. Ouch.

Wouldn't Ford cover that under emissions?

Toyota Tundra owners are having some issues with the new tundras. I’d let them get the bugs worked out. From reading the Facebook groups, the new ones are not exhibiting the high quality that Toyota is known for.

Only problems get reported- I know a few that are trouble free.

I agree but some are having catastrophic engine failure. I’m not saying they are bad, I’m just saying that some are having issues that aren’t typical of Toyota quality.

Before I retired I drove company trucks, They were 3/4 ton Gassers both Chevy and Fords.
With regular maint I never had any major issues with either one. I drove 70-75K a year.
Glad I don't drive that much anymore.Got a new one every 2 yrs.
