Todd came out last Tuesday with another tirade. It was for the most part just another hashing over old material but he did say he's been asking for open records on the case and the state has not given him much, yet.

He did post this one text that Aplin sent to then commissioner Carter Smith and his replacement, David Yoksowitz back in February around the same time the Todd deal was announced.
"Carter, want to talk about feeling out some water people to see if they would like a water deal with us if we owned the water rights to lower our cost,".
Aplin was aware the water had value and this text showed it. Then he accused Todd of wanting to do the same thing.

I'll bet the state does not come up with an offer and the value will either be $200m plus, or Todd will go the civil suit route so he can get all the evidence the state is not sending him.

JMO but I think $200mm is high since he only paid $110mm. I would be a little surprised if it is much over $125mm but again JMO.

All I can say about this is a hell of a mess.

Sure it is just a guess at this point but I cannot imagine the State trying to get away paying less than Todd paid just don’t think it will be as high as some have posted.

It is rumored that the bank had a water rights appraisal that was over 200 million. The rumor did not specify if that was a present value appraisal or if it included any value for the land.

Whose rumor? I mean if the bank thought it was worth 200M they would have bid on the property. Banks tend to chase money. These type of rumors don't pass the "does it make sense" test.
