Dak's biggest problem is now with the Chargers. I think he will have a much better year/career without predictable Moore calling the plays. And that guy ain't off to a great start with the Chargers either. KM is scoring points like he did here but Fat Mac is showing the last couple of games that maybe a more controlled offense is a better offense. That Jets defense was the big bad juggernaut and really the Cowboys did what they had too on that first drive . . . they got out in front of NYJ. Jets gave up a TD for the 1st time in an opening drive in 15 games. The Cow offense is not impotent. And yes I got impatient (like KM does) and wanted more TD's in that 2nd half and we got FG's. McCarthy just played it close to the vest. He didn't win with style points but he won safely. Different but good offense. I'll be surprisednif KM makes it 2 full seasons with the Chargers before he is fired. The thing I've noticed in just 2 games is McCarthy seems to design plays that highlights tge abilities of the offensive players rather than so many gadget plays. There seems to be less oddball drive killing and momentum killing plays called under MM than KM so far.

Yep McCarthy is using this novel idea that HS and colleges use, get the ball in the playmakers hands.

The causals will look at this and say โDink and dunk Dakโ. When in reality, this is Mike McCarthy masterfully eliminating the Jets Defensive pass rush.

KM seemed to call plays that said "look at me, I'm an offensive genius!", MM just seems to call plays that fit the players and gets the job done. I'm sure as a fan we will have some WTH moments with MM and a play call here and there. I am not the biggest MM fan but I do feel better with him calling the offense for sure.

Tom Brady would dink dunk you to death. But Dak will be dialing it back this year, less is more. Conservative offense, win with defense. Also Brandin Cooks is their deep threat WR, he did not play because of injury.

So pleased with the wins and not trying to be a downer. Under a microscope Iโm concerned about Pollard because his yards per carry are down. Also I am concerned that we had to kick 5 field goals which reminded me of the Jason Garrett days. Again, both are not problematic against weak sisters but Iโm concerned about how those two things will affect us down schedule against a team like Philly.

I hope the reason is MM is just playing conservative, not going for it on 4th down, and not showing all his play book to put on tape. But it sure was nice seeing all those kicks split the uprights.... he needs the experience and confidence. The kicker has been a been a concern going into the season.

Just remember they have a starting OL out and two other OL playing hurt.

Yeah, where all the 8-8 and Dak will throw over 30 int's guys? They're all back in 2020 when the NFL played a 16 game schedule.

If the Cowboys can maintain the 30 plus point average all season they will be in the playoffs and likely even make some noise. Their offense while not flashy reminds me of how the Chiefs won by scoring 30 some points per game. Dallas has a way better defense than the Chiefs have fielded in their Superbowl wins. If the players stay grounded it is not unlikely they could win a Superbowl this year. I said earlier this year I wouldn't be shocked to see them go 13 and 4. They are good enough if they can hold it together.
