Eli manning was about as mediocre as anyone can be yep but Eli knew how to do one thing well, that most other quarterback couldn't. He knew how to beat Brady in the SB twice. The scramble out of the patriots defense arms and throws a pass to the tight end ended a perfect season. The one thing eli did well was not get shook up over a bad play or game and just keeps coming. He is absolutely a middle of the pack but he knew how to win in big games. Lots of luck involved in those two SB's, especially one of them, but I think that is a factor in a lot of SB teams, the ball bounces right. I do think Eli was a better QB than he gets credit for, hard to measure up against his brother.

The thing you left out in the comparison is Brady’s Super Bowl wins. You can’t leave them out of the comparison.

Peyton was a better quaterback skills wise but I think Eli was a stronger quarterback mentally

Eli was indeed an average NFL quarterback during the regular season. But he was not the same guy when he made to the post season. The pressure of the playoffs sharpened him. He played cleaner and made fewer mistakes when the pressure was the highest.

So it’s Daks fault they have not won a Super Bowl in 30 years. We just need to draft a top 5 QB, problem solved…

I’m on fivebites and patriot07 side. Dak ain’t got it and I doubt will ever win the big kahuna. You gotta know what team to throw to. He’s the weakest on leading receivers. I love Dak as a person but personality, commitment, dedication, and strong work ethic doesn’t win Sooopas. Operative word is called talent.

M But the Giants won with Eli...twice. Matthew Stafford, Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, Trent Dilfer... Of course you can win with Dak, but he needs more help than a top 5 QB.

I am not predicting that the Cowboys go to the SB but I am predicting that Dak has a really good year, the QB cannot win a SB on his own, period, lots of things have to go right. I hate it when the media says Dak is 7-3 against this team,McCarthy is 2-4 against this team, blah blah blah, the team is 7-3 or 2-4 against those teams, football is the ultimate team sport !

The Eagles lost 5 starters and both coordinators....play 10 playoff teams....won't suffer from post SB drop-off that is historically common...and will win the NFC in a cake walk??? Bull [censored]!
49ers counting on continued ascension of mister irrelevant after what was effectively Tommy John surgery 8 months ago are also the class of the NFC.... also bull [censored]!

Eli was a great combination of lucky and mediocre.
He was just clutch in 2 particular playoff runs, and happened to have great defenses and running games for both.
Dak doesn't have 4 straight games of limited turnovers in his playbook, so I don't see how he's got any chance to win a SB. He's just not that good. And you can't win super bowls with turnover-prone QBs

2016 Dak had only 4 int's. In 7 seasons he's had 66 interceptions so that averages out to 9 per year. Not bad. I think last year he was pressing due to the weakness of the WR talent (it was CeeDee and then nothing).
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Look it up. Stop making up stuff, do some research....
