My late brother and I used to listen to Robert Earl Keen's "5# Bass" on the way to the lake in the mornings. What I wouldn't give to do that one more time........
Screen Name is in a line from the song.

It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

The first part of my name is what I would use if I only had 1 lure I could use. I used to have a Triton TR21. That's the second part of my name.

I’m 46yo and like chickenfried steak. If something bad happened and I had to stop eating beef, I’d change it to fried okra. Y’all noticing a pattern? cool

When I was a kid I would squirrel hunt with my uncle and cousins in Arkansas. I had an old 16 gauge Stevens shot gun with a adjustable choke on it.A big ol Knot he would call it My uncle would say get that shotgun with a dognot and come on we is a going hunting. Cousins started calling me Dognot and the name stuck. They still call me that today 50 yrs. later. About a month ago somebody didn't like the fact people called their dogs Doggo's so I changed my name then. I kind of like it......Doggo-not.

Not because I catch a lot of fish on Lake Tyler, but because I live on Lake Tyler. My suggestion is to fish every day possible in February and March. And given the summer we've had, to just skip it in the summer. I am gonna night fish at the end of the month though.

I was originally “Basshunter” but forgot my log in and couldn’t ever figure it out to log back in, never could get support to be able and log in so I changed it to “Tejasbasshunter”.
