Damn impressive fellas. I'm 72, fished Fork during the hay day, a lot and never have gotten a DD. Like the old cowboy said in City Slickers though when asked if he had killed anybody today, " Day ain't over"!!

Damn impressive fellas. I'm 72, fished Fork during the hay day, a lot and never have gotten a DD. Like the old cowboy said in City Slickers though when asked if he had killed anybody today, " Day ain't over"!! Thing that some do not think about is people that mostly can only fish on weekends are at a disadvantage when catching giant bass on public waters.

Getting a 13 from any lake hard.
Getting 13’s from 3 different public lakes (esp before livescope)-is really really impressive.
Whole heartedly agree with both these statements. A 13 is rare.

I caught three 14s and three 13s from public lakes, all were caught on Saturday or Sunday. I had to work all my life, like 99% of us. None were from Texas, however.
I have sometimes wondered if I would rather have my 5 biggest bass I caught or the 5 biggest bass I lost. I have lost some giants. Florida, Texas, California and Mexico....

So for those that have caught 13+ , what day of the week did you catch it? Don't remember for sure but mine were all caught during the week. January, February and July. Swimbait, sight fishing, night fishing

12.96 is my best. Ivie.
I’ve caught a pretty good number of double digits from Hubbard Creek and Ivie but no 13s.
Retirement best job ever.
