The plan was to fish a Damsel Fly using the Vintage Bamboo Fly Rod. No Bruisers but these scrappy Sunfish were liking the pattern, even with the tail missing!

Fishing a local pond for anything that wants to bite! Went with the Wooley Bugger Variant that I tied when I took the Basic Fly Fishing Class hosted by TPWD and the Dallas Fly Fishers. Will get an edited version posted in the next few.

Benefit of livestreaming, camera stays on the whole session. Was able to get this footage.

Fished the local pond for whatever bites. Caught a little Bass but I think a bigger one wanted it!

Wapsi Foam Spider makes for a simple and effective pattern on Bluegill. Give it a try, and be ready for a Bass to take it, too!
