2012 Chevy Silverado Z71
on the way to work I rolled my back window down to get some air..truck started vibrating to the point I was about to pull over and check
only noticeable if the either back window is down (tried it with both)
windows up = seems to ride normally
been 2 years since tires - Michelin XT's
thanks for any insight

if I roll down a back window only mine makes a horrible noise. has something to do with the aerodynamics.

I've had times when the wind buffeted the truck when I rolled down 1 back window. If you open the opposite front window it should stop. Try opening the 2 opposite windows about 1/4 of the way down and see if that resolves the issue.

if I roll down a back window only mine makes a horrible noise. has something to do with the aerodynamics. ^^^^This^^^^ Lots of different vehicles do it. Opening a window disturbs the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

Yeah, mine too. It is kind of an air thumping noise. I have to open up sliding beer can window on the rear of the cab to make the noise lessen.

Buffetting with a single window down does weird things.
How many miles does it have?
How long since suspension components were replaced?
Does it do it with both back windows down?

Every vehicle I`ve ever owned makes a vibrating noise when the back windows only are rolled down. Nothing new here.

put some of the window top covers on, I can run 75 with front passenger about 2" down and back slider open with almost no noise and mine has never done anything like what you describe. https://www.autozone.com/vent-visor...e-side-window-deflector-92438/336720_0_0

Does it do it with both back windows down? 140k miles will check today if it's with both I just could not believe how hard it shook..I could see the truck shaking..then window up no shaking thanks all for the comments!
