Does the Hobie 180 Drive unit fit into older kayaks like my 2016 Hobie Pro Angler 12?

They do, I have a 2015 outback and upgraded the spindle to 180 drive. I still bent the mast hitting a submerged log, but the 180 drive was a nice upgrade. Last summer year I bought a new MirageDrive 180 Kick-Up with Turbo Fins, it's even better. Reach out if you wanna meetup and test the 180's I'm in Lewisville.

I am trying to sell my 2016 Hobie Pro Angler 12 and someone was asking if the 180 drive would fit. I thought it would but was not sure.
