Wind shear. There is no wind in space - they don't know what to do with it when they get here.

It's the invisible enemy. It's our forcefield. It's how we trap 'em.

Don’t let them anywhere near your butthole.

Regardless of aliens, this is just good life advice.

Stupidity - knowing something will hurt and still doing it.

That’s why life is difficult

99.9999% of the time they do. No issues. But that .00001%.... They get into the booze and bad stuff happens.

Bob Lazar claimed there were never any crashes. He claimed the US government was in possession of 7 or so ships which were an archeological find. Meaning they were found underground somewhere and had been abandoned for perhaps thousands of years. Yet they were still in basically pristine condition when you brushed them off. We eventually figured out how to turn them on and his role was attempting to reverse engineer the propulsion system.

What these pilots are seeing today could be skunk work drones developed by that reverse engineering process... or it could be old boys coming back for their toys.

Hmmm, sounds suspiciously like the plot for The Thing - the one with Kurt Russel.

The Thing was an excellent movie. One of my favorites.

With an underlying theme. When in Doubt, Shoot it Out. Then burn it.

We have a lot of things, that even pilots in the different branches of the service never know about. Sometimes they are just concepts being tested out, sometimes they develop into actual platforms, that are then kept secret from most for long periods. Take the USAF F-117 for example. It had been in test and development for a few years before it went operational in 1983. It wasn't until 1988 that it was made public knowledge and wasn't until 1990 that it was shown to the public. It looked and flew like no other aircraft in the skies. If we have programs like that, you know other countries do too.

corrected typo

I'm predicting that 95%+, of the government, will still be here after that event.
