I just got back from fishing on the Alabama coast and the boats down there give me a different perspective on what we spend for boats here in North Texas and surrounding areas. There are lots of boats down there that just the motors hanging off the back of them would cost more; and some a lot more, than what we spend for a bass boat. We run around in our what we call an expensive bass boat but you go down to the coast and see what some of those guys are running, it will humble you QUICK.

Amen to that! Merc's new 600 HP Outboard is $77K EACH!!

Their annual fuel bill is more than the price of an Ikon

And think most of these stay in a slip so they fuel up at the marina. That $4 turns into $8-10 real quick

They did drop the LX20 a few days ago. It’s more true 21’ at 20’ 10”. And is said to be a 70 mph boat. I can tell you the LX 21 is safe to say 65-68 mph on speed. But the build and ride are next to none. I will also tell you all this $150k for the boat is not correct.

I’ll just leave it at that.
