Now that the tournament season is winding down I have more time for fun fishing I wanted to offer two trips to any active duty miltary folks on Lake Worth, Bridgeport, Grapevine or Eagle Mountain. As long as we set a day up when I am not working I will cover all expenses and even throw in lunch. Your money will not be good on these days. As soon as the weather settles down and some of these lakes re-open just shoot me an email and we'll set it up. I'm nothing special to fish with but I'llmake sure we have a fun day and give you a break from the grind. I have all gear needed as well. Thanks for what you do and take care.

Mark, having been in the Army for 23 years and still counting, I can't tell you how much I appriciate your patriotism, as well as all the others on the TFF that have made similiar offers. I hope some kid just back from the sand box takes you up on it, it would be a memory they will never forget. Luckily I have always had a boat in order to pursue my passion of bass fishing, atleast between deployments anyway, but I know those that don't have the means to get out on the water and chase those fish will truely appriciate the opportunity. And who are you kidding about not being anything special? Having only met you once, but having heard of your fishing exploits from friends, especially on the lakes you listed, I can't think of a better person they could fish with. My only regret is that I can't be there in July to hand it to you in match play, but you know the deal, Uncle Sam takes priority and he pays the bills. Again, thank you for what your offering, and guys, don't forget those Guardsmen and Reserve soldiers, they are taking a heavy load of this war themselves.

Hey Mark, my name is DC and I have met you once at the 2007 spring classic I was helping Scott Gordon run the American Bass Anglers booth. I am a member of the US Army(Active) and I want to say thank you for helping soldiers like myself and my fellow comrads, I have been blessed to have my own boat but one day I would like to take you up on the offer and split the cost of the trip and maybe you could show me some deep water tactics up on Bridgeport. I am sure, like Jim said that some other soldier would be willing to take you up on your offer and if I run across some I will let them know.

Thanks guys but its not a big deal. Its something I have been meaning to do and just want to give a little something back.
DC: you are welcome anytime in my boat. As soon as Bport opens back up we can hit it. I may be a little rusty out there but we'll try and catch a few. Take care.

Mark, As an old Air Force Vietnam Vet I would also like to thank you for givng back. I'm sure there may be a lot of TFF'ers from wither Ft. Hood or Whatever they call Carswell these days who would love to take you up on the offer. It makes me proud just to know that patriotism is not dead here in our country. I would have been overwhelmed if that type of attitude had prevailed when I came back from Vietnam in 1971.
Thanks again my friend.

Id love to go out!! I live in Arlington, and mainly fish the banks of Lake Arlington for cats, although that hasnt been too exciting lately. Thank you all for all the support and a very generous offer like this. I was on active duty(USMC) til 2004 for almost 10 years, and now a reservist at ft worth jrb. I'll be leaving for the big sandbox in October and would love for somebody to take me out, especially if you go out during the weekday, night or day. I usually only get 1 weekend off per month and that is for my weekend drills, that usually entail friday saturday and sunday. If anybody needs a buddy I would really love to go out, and can catch most of the bait. Anyway, once again thatnks for the support. ryukyusan75@yahoo.com Tony

Sgt Moon----Shoot me a PM---- Lake Arlington is kind of my lake--I live very close to it. I'm out there more than other lakes. I am very far from a pro but I usually have good conversation and a cooler full of drinks. Maybe we can get out on the water some evening. I'm former Navy so I won't hold your USMC against you. We're all kindred spirits. Let's go fishing.

Mr. Perry I would like to second your invitation. I just moved to Azle and dont know Eagle Mountain that well, I have a brother in law that just got back from Iraq and 2 of my dearest friends are over there now. I dont know where the fish are in this lake but I would be more than honored to take any active military personnel on a fishing trip. If anyone of you guys know someone or anyone on here that would be interested, please drop me a line. It would be nice to give something back to guys that make it possible for me to be able to fish, when and where I want to..
Thanks Rick
