Went to Lowe’s theater in Arlington with my girlfriend one night. Can’t remember the movie but we were the only ones there and I’ve got things besides movies on my mind now. Some idiots come in and sit right behind us. Totally kills the “vibe”.

I was gonna say something to these idiots when the lights came on. Got up and turned around and it was Jose Canseco with some stacked blonde. He was much larger in person than on TV.

I didn’t say anything.

I've played golf with Charlie Pride, Steve Buechele, Tim Brown, and Brett Hull. All at different times.

I had a great time with all of them. Did not ask any of them for an autograph or ask any questions about their career. Buechele and Charlie both said they enjoyed playing with someone that just let them play golf and not ask them a million questions. Brett has calves that look like 5 gal buckets. Tim and Charlie are both really funny guys.

My wife met Kenny Rogers, the ex-Rangers pitcher, at a golf tournament our sons were playing in. After some small talk, he introduced himself and asked if she knew who he was. She said he looked so disappointed when she said she didn't have a clue.

Met a lot, but the most famous, probably Former President Ford. He was at a table next to us at a restaurant in Vale Colorado back in the 70's after he left office.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Met Muhammad Ali once, I asked him how he really felt about Howard Cosell. He said I wish he was a fire hydrant and I was a dog. And talked with Bum Phillips a while. Nice guy. And the coach of the Houston WNBA team was nice, even after my wife said “you look a lot taller on TV”. A little wine and I could not shut her up.

Oh snap, I forgot I met George Bush 41 in East Dallas, we were asked to fill a bunch of 55 gal plastic barrels by the secret service to block Swiss Ave where Bush and his wife's program "Weed and Seed" program was opening it's first location. He gave a speech for the opening. The detail boss of the SS was a retired NYFD fireman and he spent a lot of time at our station while planning and setting up the visit.

The amount of fire power they had in a 2 block area was amazing. Lots of agents in the crowd you'd never guess were agents. 4 Snipers in position and basically a turret mounted anti aircraft gun in the back of a Suburban and a bunch of other cool stuff. We were invited into the facility prior to Bush's speech and he spent about 45 min or so shooting the breeze with us and taking pics, it was pretty cool.

that would be very cool, dude is a walking encyclopedia as far as his stuff goes.

The story we were told was every car in the collection was drivable, licensed, and insured. He would come by in the morning, tell his shop manager which car he wanted to drive to the studio, and they would bring it up front for him to go to tape his show. The day we were there, his choice was a Hemi Cuda. He had a special room with about 8 Bugattis and 8 or 9 Dusenbergs. Also had a lot of steam powered cars.

I've got a few....working at a few places in CA awarded with me some cool run ins and a few not so great.

Most memorable:
Surfing with Rob Machado, Pat O'Connell, Todd Prestidge, and Kelly Slater in the Oceanside Harbor.

Least favorite:
Working the drive through for In N Out. Jay Leno came through in a sweet restored Lincoln Continental drop top. Tried talking to him about it, he straight ignored me, handed me his money, then drove off without a thank you or any pleasantry. I know we all have bad days, but there's no way I would have treated anyone that way even on my worst day.

Mohammad Ali. 1971 Fountain Blue hotel Miami Beach. 1971. I was 10. I asked him if I could take a photo. Ran back to get the Polaroid from Dad who was not impressed. Took a photo and waited for it to develop. He asked if it was good and then signed it. Still in my gun safe. He was very nice !

Ran into Ed Too-Tall Jones at a 7-11 in Coppell. To this day, the biggest human being I’ve ever seen.
