Did they really spray the hydrilla on Choke?
I don’t know of them spraying hydrilla. They did spray hyacinth up the river. I think the hydrilla dies off due to the rapidly dropping water. Happens every time the lake continues to fall.

Except here’s the flaw in your theory. The lake has been at approximately the same level for the last 3 years. It goes up 2’-3’ and down 2’-3’. There has been no rapid drop and the hydrilla easily could have kept up with the levels. Look at Canyon, it’s dropped much more rapidly and the hydrilla is doing good.

Like mentioned, they sprayed up the river and within months, 90% of the hydrilla on the main lake was toast. Craziest coincidence ever right there. (If their spray didn’t kill all of it)

Now there is some milfoil, I have yet to catch a fish anywhere around it.
I can’t disagree with that.
