+1

The 3/8 version is awesome, but hard to find. Glad I have a bunch of them.

I have used the Yellow Magic and Rico for years. I started replacing the #6 trebles with Gama's in #6 - 4x strong. I think, it's 4x strong. Whatever the next stronger hook from original Gama's. Started tying my own feathered trailer on them. I did this after several bass pulled free from straightened hooks while fishing in heavy weeds. Haven't noticed any problems and no straightened hooks,
Color?? Don't think it's that important??

Bone is my best color by far. My backup color is bone and occasionally if the bass are finicky I will change to bone.

That’s how I used to feel about smoke Shad. Then added bone to my rotation. I still have more confidence in smoke Shad, but a few 7-8lb bass on it will sway you that direction.

When I didn't know any better, I had my hooks straightened out one time and one time only. It was a biggun down on Falcon and I Iearned a hard lesson.

Black early morning then once that sun gets up I go to bone
I used to throw nothing but bone, till I got my tail handed to me one morning by a buddy who was throwing black.
