Not on this forum page much but I have a 12 Pescador and first time I took it out I had the boys paddle around at the boat launch before I even tried. Thought for sure I would flip it but I was surprised. Next day went to friends backyard pool and intentionally turtled it, Figure out pretty quick you cant touch bottom its VERY hard to get back in by yourself. I am a firm believer in the life jacket and always have been but when yakking, I try to be with others and rarely solo after I learned this critical lesson early on. I have helped 2 guys while in my boat who flagged me down. One totally dehydrated and wore out ( no hat or sunglasses) another having some kind of medical episode. he hollered HELP to me. Both times they thought God sent me as for sure had no one been around they would have died.
