You must be proud to know that you voted for the 2 worst presidents in history.

I am slow and need you to explain, what point did someone make for you?

You're crazy if you think rich folks don't get freebies. The two people who get freebies are the ones who are so poor that they're willing to sell their vote and the folks who are so rich they can buy a politician. Everyone in the middle gets hosed, and it's a mix of dems and republicans. Love Trump, but his tax cuts were a giveaway to the rich and many in the middle class, myself included, are paying for it.

But the fact that student loan forgiveness is even a topic shows a shocking lack of personal responsibility, and says a lot about where we are as a society.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.

I'm all for student loans being wiped away as long as their degree is rescinded and no further student loans can be taken for 7 years by the scofflaw student.

We are all subsidized in one way or another.

I will go one step further, they have to give up their right to vote for 10 years.

You have the benefit of logic and common sense.....they do not.

I am for federal assistance for jobs that are in need.

When I was growing up that was chemical, electrical and structural engineers. Computer programmers and such.
Doctors, nurses also.

The art and other social degrees that people get then become sales agents and secretaries don't need incentives.
I assisted my daughter in college and she came out with a degree and no dept and then got a masters with no dept.

Its absurd that kids get loans to pay for college and don't try to work through college to help pay their way.
100k debt is unreal and as I'm reading thats not the largest loans.

And they pay taxes on the gain like any other taxpayer that has debt forgiven.

Someone earlier said a friend’s kid had $400K in student loans. I am not up on college tuition these days, but is this even possible?

You can use them for rent and vacations. My nephew did this. He didn't have to.
