Yup, all those republicans followed the PPP rules... The student loan parasites signed on the line and now they wanna skate on loans... Welcome to the real world... As far a the 'Biggest fraud in a generation' turn the IRS, FBI, DOJ and any other alphabet agency loose and bring the parasites to justice... But the dems proved they aren't real serious when it come to cheats, just look at the Hunter Biden debacle... Dan
I'm good with that as long as they used those funds to help their employees. If they didn't use those funds to help their employees, they are worthless POS scumbag criminals. They're no different than people with college loans looking for an unearned payday at the expense of honest taxpayers. Party affiliations are irrelevant here.
It’s real simple and per the rules- you could use that money for payroll, what you do with the money that would’ve been for payroll is totally up to you.

I am totally against forgiving the student loans. My kids and all of my grandkids paid as they went or paid off their loans in short order. But to be fair, there are lots of give away programs to the wealthy. For instance, as I drive by our local airport, that has no commercial service, I see buildings and infrastructure being built with federal and local tax money that mainly support those with private planes, some are even private jets. I am not sure how this helps the every day guy

I doubt that the wealthy are out there doing the construction or the everyday business of running the place... Sounds like capitalism at work. No telling where the experience might lead some young entrepreneur.

I agree it is capitalism at work. The rich feeding off the middle or lower income families. And getting tax exemptions for the fly toys. Capitalism has been great, but it certainly has its flaws.

There are people who collect money, there are people who don't. Nothing is gonna change that, it's always gonna be that way.

Biden will have to figure another way to buy votes. If you remember he was promising 60 grand the one time he came out to campaign. I bet kids and parents voted for that.

Regardless the politicians are the true winners from where I sit!
Wrong the American tax paying citizens are the winners. Unreal; you or someone like you owes student loans?

Never said that or implied that. They absolutely pay rental, but it is subsidized by grants that underwrite the capital costs.

You’re right, I don’t think the Dems expected or wanted the SC to rule in their favor. They will just recycle the promise of student loan forgiveness to gather mindless sheep votes for the next election.

Thanks for your reply a few answered questions may help me understand your position. Then what is your point there are air ports all across the US that are county owned or subsidized by grants ? Do you own a plane ? What does any of this have to do with student loans ?
