My boat trailer at Possum Kingdom lake has had its lights stop working altogether. Anyone know of a good video that shows how to test trailer lights and find the issue? I am sure its from all the salt water.

Start with checking for broken wires then clean all ground connections. Bad grounds are the culprit most the time.

I carry one of the test plugs with me. With it you can make sure the vehicle wiring is likely not the culprit. Also The fuse under the hood- usually towing package- can be blown so your trailer lights would be ok once you replace the fuse. Owners manual should have fuse schematic.

I had a boat that if you left the lights plugged in while launching would blow a fuse in the truck every time, so I just unplugged them before launch
