They were held accountable right here on the forum and from the feed back I got they were found wanting. All I wanted was to make everyone aware of his conduct on the water and I did that. Most all agree that what he did was deplorable. I will say this if he are anyone else does this to me or mine again I will do the same thing for them. This kind of [censored] has got to stop! Stand your ground when it occurs, big mad posting to a forum who's audience is mostly olds will only accomplish a bunch of us 40+ people agreeing with you. It was a teachable moment for the young man at the moment it happened.

Fished against that tackle depot guy in the Nation series. He wasn’t what is called super friendly. Especially when he didn’t catch them (which was more often than not)

So what was wrapped boat, hole buzzard doing differently than you, (the OP) to catch his 33lbs? I’m trying to figure out if there is some jealousy involved or what the entire situation is. Yeah, he was close; but how close? 1 cast away, 2 cast?

Yeah, he was close; but how close? 1 cast away, 2 cast? Could it be that the "hole buzzard" who cut the OP off got all the good out of that hole first?

that spot is a very small fishing area at the end of the point i can see if you were sitting there waiting for legal time to fish an then the other boat rolls in on top of you an blocks it there is a problem. there has been all this talk for 9 pages but if the person complaining would have said something at the time an not waited to get on the net an call the guy out it could have been different. the fact that the guy in question has not said boo about this or his peeps have not come on here an defended him shows a pattern nobody thinks this guy was right to do this.. some folks think if they have patches an a wrapped boat they are entitled to roll up on other fishermen an crowd them. keep in mind the prize for second place in the tournament will never cover the amount of grief this cat will get in the future. if nothing else this thread might make some of the wrapped boats an flatbrimmers think about some common courtesy on the water.

I don’t think flatbrimmers are on Internet forums, they use instagram.

I was going to file a protest until I seen that the guy I had to protest to was running the weigh in line and I guess he is the one to protest to. I am sure my protest would have gone nowhere with this man as it did not go anywhere when we asked him to move off of us I protested a good friend of the tournament director at a Honey Hole tournament before. Just stand up for yourself and do it next time. I and several other people watched the guy, someone I knew, start the tournament 5 minutes early with several other boats watching. I trolled by him and told him he started early and he pretty much told me he hadn't. At weigh in I gave him an opportunity to withdraw and when he didn't I filed the protest. The tournament director backed up his friend till I told him to give me a polygraph, then him. He just made his friend take the polygraph which he of course failed. Then his partner was given a test and again failed. It happens. Stand up for yourself.
I am wrong but you can not prove it, you just believe it enough from the bottom of your heart.....
.......Every post you make I'll be trolling you.

I want to thank the lady at Tackle Depot for her calling my son as he lives very close to her store. He went to the store and talked to her and she was very sorry that this had happened and said that she had other complaints about Montana and that he would not be a problem anymore from a Tackle Depot boat, This is a class lady and know fault should be attached to her store. I hope that this brings to light the problem some have while on the water and the price they will pay if they intrude on others. This had nothing to do with money or winning the tourny . It had only to point out the injustice from some on others and the price you can pay for being an [censored].

we stood up in the way we wanted to stand up. We wanted it in public opinion and that's what we got. I didn't want him disqualified as he just needed a lesson and now he got it. I hope he learned it well.

I have fished that spot for over 40 years .This was not about the spot and trying to save it for me ! It was about poor sportsmanship and getting it stopped. We will see if anything comes of it .I hope that when this happens anywhere it gets attention on hear to show up the people who do it.
