Well I guess your right but I have been bass fishing for over 60 years and I guess I am out dated but I will not do that. There may not have been posted rules but by God there are rule that 99% of fishermen follow!

In my opinon H/S tournies are way to big to start with and need to be broken up to make it more safe . If that is happening in those HS tournies it is teaching our young adults the wrong thing

Was this a sanctioned event? I think the governing body lets a lot go and then these kids grow up thinking everything is fine.

HS fishing is a thing that is good and terrible at the same time. Lots of degens fish tourneys and they are teaching lids to be the same way

Sometimes being blasted on the net is the only thing that works.


I have a dumpster in my yard and have neighbors across the street that would dump garbage from the can into the dumpster, half the time half of the garbage ended up in my yard or on the street. Or when the dumpster was full they would set bags in my yard. Stray cats and dogs would spread garbage all over my yard. I got tired of picking up other peoples' trash, but didn't want it to blow into someone else's yard or make my yard look trashy.

Everytime I found identifying information in the trash, so that I was 100% certain where it came from, I would confront the neighbors and they would pick it up. But it kept happening over and over again.

Finally I was contacted by the fire marshall when he saw a mattress leaned against the dumpster, because it was in my yard. He talked to neighbors and told them next time they would be cited.

2 citations later they were still leaving garbage in my yard.


Finally blasted them on local Facebook Page and that was apparently more effective than the citations or me talking to them. Haven't had an issue since.

Let them fill it up then have it dumped in their yard and haul off the dumpster.

Yes, but let's no make it sound like I was a high school thsba type deal, it was far from that. I'm on your side only cause it was a benefit type deal and you had kids in boat. Otherwise you should have handled on the water. Your boat was set up to the east facing away. I would have set up different to guard the spot. He is gonna say he came in behind you. Did you not see him pulling in. He pulled a d head move for sure but that happens in adult stuff all the time. Next time crank your engine and blow the hole out.....

And let me add that if you are gonna pull a d head move in a benefit tournament probably not a good idea to do it in a boat wrapped with the same company name that's sponsoring the event and then go help with weigh in lol. That not only makes one a d head it makes one a pin head..... and then hole sit the spot after you bust them so everyone within 5 miles knows where you caught them......
