I do not was to sound like a heel, but after being cut off by a Tackle depot boat yesterday morning with the gall to do so by slipping in to within 2 to less than 3 boat lengths then spot locking effectively cutting us off when we were spot locked and effectively cutt us off of the fish we had located fish .I have fished bass tournys for over 50 years and I have never seen anyone like this. Me my son and my grand son were fishing the same H/S benefit tourny. These guys cut us off and when we ask them to move they said no %$$%^&&&^. 1 hour later we decide to circle around them and come up to a distance longer than what they had given us and they told us we were to close and we had to move. The irony of it was that this boat was a Tackle Depot boat, The company who were putting this tourny on! Worse yet it was the same man doing the weighing in. What I want to no here is it ok to have these kind of people setting a standard of do anything to win and they did win 2nd place with 33+ #. How they won it to me is very questionable. No other boat came with in 75 Yards of them or us all day. Why was it ok for them to come so close to us. Like in politics its rules for thee but not for me. Montana Hand you and your partner have a good day ! Until we meet on the water again !

I wouldn't worry about that spot. Some of us got an eyeful and will be beating it to pieces for the next month.

sorry but some folks dont have good manners anymore when it comes to pulling up on folks that are already there if there was a rule about it in the tournament you should have filed a protest not a whole lot you can do about it on the net after the money is spent.

What's the point of throwing the tackle shop under the bus either? You think that they can controll what anyone does outside of their business? People don't have courtesy anymore, and it's also a two sided story as to he said she said [censored]. Like the other guy said you shoulda protested it if there was anything in the rules about it. If not you have nothing to say about it. The guy running the tournament would have dq'd them if there was and you filed a legit protest. The internet police ain't gonna help with anything sir.

That is just dumb fellow. These guys were working with Tackle Depot to put this tourny on. They showed bad sportsmanship in doing so. and by doing so they by their action are showing our High school boys it's ok to just walk on anyone.

If its not the point why throw them under the bus? You did it twice, and they were only sponsoring the tournament. So there's no need in trying to hurt a small business when they did nothing.

I was going to file a protest until I seen that the guy I had to protest to was running the weigh in line and I guess he is the one to protest to. I am sure my protest would have gone nowhere with this man as it did not go anywhere when we asked him to move off of us

So in the rules what was the distance allowed? If they broke the rules you should've taught your grandson how to file a protest. End of story

No the guy you had to protest to was the one weighing the fish not the one measuring the fish

No rules about distance, and that area is probably top 3 or 4 community holes on the lake.

The guy running the tourny was the guy who did it! How far do you think a protest would have went? I will have plenty to say about it next time I see that Tackle Depot boat on the water. when there is no respect then show no respect. I have for 50 + years shown respect to all but these guys have shown now and when I see them on the water I will show them none

No he wasn't, the guy running the deal is in the other depot boat. His wife was taking money and he was going boat to boat giving out rules and checking livewells that morning. And there are 3 tackle depot wrapped boats that I know of

See above message, he was not running the tournament he was measuring the fish. Lonnie was running the tournament and I promise you he doesn't care he would boot his brother out If he did wrong. And sine no rules were broken you have an invalid protest. All your here to do is bitch about something that's not worth the time or effort sir. Good luck to you in catching fish wherever you may go.
