Did you ever have to help someone that stuck something up their rear back bottom portal other then their head?

I’m really surprised that Dallas is just now doing this. We have had online reporting for around ten years. It’s actually beneficial for the underserved communities that have anxiety about contacting the police for a face to face. All cases are still reviewed and any that have merit are followed up on. We even now have a flock of civilians to take reports for people that don’t want to use online. It comes in real handy on days like yesterday when we are working a fatality and suicide at the same time. It’s just necessary in todays day and age folks.

I saw the Dallas Mayor on TV yesterday bragging about how major crime was down in the city. As a Democrat mayor, he was different and better than all the other Dem mayors who were responsible for rampant crime in their cities.

He was giving himself a big ol’ Texas atta boy and pat on the back. I guess this move is part of that.

Maybe the Houston mayor needs to take notes. Oh wait, Sheila Jackson Lee is going to fix ALL the problems when she becomes mayor.

911 is a victim of its own success. People today are programmed to call 911 for any police request. Be it emergency or non emergency. What's needed is a non emergency number that is identical across the US.

Or you people could quit being Flappy P’s and needing someone else to handle your problems.

Doesnt everybody use 411 for that? Maybe it’s 311. I can’t remember. I’m not one of the people calling emergency services because I’m evicted / locked out of my apartment or calling because I my fat grandma needs to move from the couch to the crapper or calling because my baby mama/daddy won’t bring the kids’ backpacks back or calling because my tire is flat or (insert your own absurd reason here).
