Hey all,
Hope all is well! Me and my Buddy had a livewell problem this last Thursday at the Lake Arlington evening tournament. We had a fish that wouldn't fit in the live well without her being bent up. The divider is solid as $%^ and we couldn't budge it to try and get it out! Other than taking a saw to it,,,does anyone know how to remove it? 2014 year model zx250

Since when did Skeeters come with one live-well with a divider? I thought they've always had two separate wells.

The smaller models had divider like this. Only way is to cut it out with a recip saw, just be careful, its locked in there after they screw the back deck on.

My 2016 is removeable, but it's not an easy job apparenty... here is description I found on how to do it (on a 2015) from another forum thread. Not sure if 2014 is different however? Update...
I just figured out how the livewell divider works. Like Kerry and Randy-T have mentioned before, the livewell divider will come out. The divider is actually 4 pieces. There are 2 plastic panels, and 2 metal support bars. If you remove the 4 aft screws (2 top, 2 bottom) from the starboard side (support bars), you can push the divider toward the port side, and it will fall out of the grooves. Then, simply remove the 2 pieces (the bars will stay attached to one panel).
After removing the 4 aft screws, I re-installed the top 2 screws finger tight. Now, I can easily remove the divider if I need to. If not, it will keep two bags of fish on opposites sides.

Fish really looks like it needed to be fizzed. Live well size wasn’t the culprit.

One needs to remember that there are three dimensions on the live well, it is small, but not that small. LxWxD and that depth makes a huge difference in the fish's ability to swim around. I put a 25" Over (9+ lbs) in the Livewell on Fork two years ago, and she stayed upright for the couple of hours I had her in the well.

Sorry amigo… this looks more like angler error not a livewell issue. As tournament anglers we should be able to recognize a fish that needs to be fizzed or have some flip clips put on it. It’s not only deep fish this can happen to, especially when it’s this hot and the fish is super stressed. Bummer to see an 8+ have to die because of this.
Poor Arlington has been absolutely kicked in the teeth with tournament fish kills the last couple of years. The one last year was one of the worst I’ve ever seen.

Scoop up some of these: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Fis...kuPXW_wIVQSzUAR3UuQWTEAQYAiABEgKLhPD_BwEI actually make my own, you can get all the supplies on amazon for about 30 bucks which enough to make several hundred.

Poor Arlington has been absolutely kicked in the teeth with tournament fish kills the last couple of years. The one last year was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. really, way to react and not examine or even read the original post or the picture! this kind of comment is exactly why I refrain from posting. Here much! Take a closer look at the picture bud and you even know me. The fish couldn't get straight in the livewell and would fight the wall and divider, this worried me and if it was a longer tournament i would have taken a trophy pic and released the fish right away due to the issue in the picture.. NO idea where you got the idea that the fish died? from my OP? Way to take a positive post for a topic requesting a honest answer to a problem and turning it into click bait! THE FISH WAS RELEASED ALIVE and swam OFF. This was a snap shot of the fish in the live well not its overall situation, she would sit upright for a while and when the aerator would come on she would start fiighting the walls. Dont want this to happen again and we really dont need a devider in that boat much like other who fish a tournament from time to time. We also didn't have a needle at the time and asked everyone there, who also didn't have a needle. She was released in deeper water and swam off. Thankyou 78 for a good information that I will put to task asap! answers like this are what this site should be like. and for the most part still is. SMDH Budda, thankyou for your input that in no way answered the original post or helped in any way other than Gas Light something
