Limited out on a cold morning on the Blue River! Icy rod guides, still fun!

It was a fun time even with the chilly temps!

Had a question about fishing the Blue River with spinning gear and suggested locations to fish. Hosted an impromptu livestream to provide a reply as well as other questions from viewers.

Try this simple build for making a handline. Be sure to clear it with your quilting Significant Other who may want the spools of thread that is used for this build.

It's an easy DIY project that uses the spool of thread and 3/4" PVC pipe. Give it s try!

This round we talk more Bait Finesse Systems Fishing but focused more on what we have observed while using this technique in 2024.
So far, three limits of trout were caught fishing with BFS Gear. And, I restocked my lure making supplies as I was running short on inline spinner components.

I also made a simple blade lure from sheet brass and a single split shot. Prior to the Podcast, I caught two Bass with it and lost a third one that threw the hook. Do check out the Podcast, and stay tuned for more!
