Steady is the best way I can describe it. I caught 60 on spillway hump in 3 hours. I'd catch several then move a short distance and catch several again. I repeated this process until I quit. They were still biting but I stopped for a chat with Fastguy for a while. Thanks for the Bo Blades. I look forward to giving them a try. All fish were caught using the MAL original. I lost the first one I ever used after catching 220 fish on it. I switched to the MAL in chartreuse and it performed well.

A friend wanted to go out this morning in his boat. Checked out A Frame, Sam's hump, Long ridge east and west, Mid lake hump and Merimac point. There were not that many fish in any of those spots. We picked up a couple trolling but it just didn't look good. Our final stop was Spillway hump and we hit the mother load of magnums in 23 fow. Caught them using the MAL original (both white and chartreuse) either casting and pausing the retrieve or dropping it straight down and cranking it up several turns off of the bottom. We caught 50. It was a pleasant morning temp wise with a NE wind. I don't normally fish on the weekend so it was odd to see that much boat traffic out there.

6.3.23 Found them at Longridge in 21’ water. Dropped #4 silver mepps straight down and quickly reeled up about three turns. Almost a fish every drop for the first 30 minutes. Caught 28 in less than an hour with 2 grandkids.

Since the usual guys haven't been posting I'll post a quick update. I was out on Saturday and Sunday. There were good concentrations at Spillway, Rockpile and Enchanted Oaks. Spillway has a few schools on different parts of the hump. Rockpile seemed to have a lot of small fish. Enchanted Oaks on Saturday had what seemed like 50yard wide school. That also seemed to have a lot of small fish. We did find an area on "south central" part of the hump that had some larger fish.
