Or on your paid mapping cards such as Navionics, you can subscribe to community edits. Same thing.

Let me eliminate water for you. Those guys saying buying spots to catch fish is cheating, well have I got a deal. 400 spots gare ron teed not to have fish. $29.95. To use my fishing system if you see a waypoint go somewhere else you would have a better chance to catch a fish. Goood luck

With my tournament winning waypoint system, you fish the deep-shallow-deep spots. Contact me for details…just don’t ask me which tournaments my system has won Lol , I see what you did there

Meh. I have a thing about other's spots. I usually assume they're full of shyt. At this point I really don't care about areas people cred on since it's really more rewarding personally to find your own stuff whether it's turns out amazing or not. I used Donald Harper's maps when I first started though and it shortened the learning curve reading maps so I guess it's according to persons personal goals. Like are they trying become better as an angler or do they just want spots? Does that make sense?
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

Remind me about how the TFF feels about tournament guys going out with guides before events? Do we have a problem with locals giving wypts to pro anglers?

Ok, I’ll say it, KVD and others did it for years and don’t say they didn’t because I personally know guys that put some big names on big sacks of fish right before pro events. Thought it was interesting when the “info” rules changed, so did the big names at the top
Been happening for years

They could get rid of the info rules and go back to what they had it before, with the new technology, if everyone knows about your spot it will be pillaged before the tournament anyway. No spots are really hidden anymore. Even if you have the waypoints you need to know which spots refill with quality fish.

There is no way anglers can go from lake to another across country and catch fish without help. They all do it so what.

Been happening for years Yup the first couple times they went to the Sabine I was contacted by 2 elite guys. One is pretty popular and does well. The other is now MLF. One offered a ton of tackle and such from his sponsors, the other just an "I appreciate it" . So one got decent info, the other burned a lot of fuel....

Several locals were contacted before the cut off.

There are not many shortcuts to fishing. When you have the best 200+ Waypoints on a lake you will spend the best part of a year fishing them to find the most consistant ones. You have to narrow them down to the best 3 in each water level. - 3 best topwater areas. - 3 best mid-range areas; following the fish from shallow to deep water. - 3 best areas on the 20 ft. contour with irregular features.
With these 9 best spots you can put together a great day of fishing everytime you go. Never beat up a spot. Take what you can get and move on to the next one. I have seen some people "selling" info on lakes that have not even been on or been on very few times. These were done by looking at maps, map chips, etc. I have seen a couple that people did for Bridgeport. I'm no expert out here but I fish it enough to know that a fair amount of those "spots" are usually dead water. Personally I don't care who sells or buys what but hopefully people research who and where they are buying this info from. It's like hiring a guide for a lake that guide doesn't know. Saw one breakdown on Worth, guy said the reeds are dead and not worth fishing. Either he is really good at keeping people away, or he has never been out there.

No he is right...the reeds are a non starter...just better to stay away from them entirely...don't waste your time on them...and don't throw me into that briar patch...
