I catch myself telling myself to just slow down, just enjoy the moment. I use to live for the weekends, I now live for the moment. I enjoy Monday through Sundays all the same now, I have a job that I like going to, so I am not trying to rush through Monday through Fridays. I have my Church on Sundays that I prepare for all week long in the evenings. I have Saturday to just do anything I want, including naps.
I live 10 minutes from the lake so I can pretty go fishing every afternoon I want...like later today I will be out on the water.

Want to slow it down?

Put a cup of coffee in the microwave and put the timer on 60 seconds then stand there and wait for it.

I figured time would slow down when I retired. 2 years and has not happened yet.

When you get my age (74) a year is 6 months long. Time is flying by.
