He said $900 of his own money

And I bet he'll get well over $2-3K in free / discounted line in the coming months.

I think what he did was legit. I know a guy who's been very good for a long time. He doesn't fish tourneys anymore but he swears by Vanish. The guy that did the video is probably getting alot of clicks and deservedly so. I pretty much fish with Invisx and Tatsu. Sniper was ok at first then the line frayed itself way too much when trying to break free from a snag on several occasions. Tried some Sunline and Gamma edge I believe. No issues there but not enough to make me wanna change from Seguar.

Looking forward to the Spro line (164 yards?) I don't like that much but Lake Pro Tackle had it for $24 I believe. Rome (fishing partner)was way ahead of me I guess. He already had 2 reels spooled with it!!

Not enough info yet on how good it is but my guess is it's solid.

His bait skipping video is impressive. Backhand forehand left hand right hand you name it he can do it very well.

He didn't test casting distance, I'm curious what that would have shown

Smallest diameter would generally be the best for casting difference.
