Guys, I am doing a second video this afternoon with the experts at Seaguar about fishing line based on follow up questions from the first one we did. My questions are specifically about storage and life expectancy, like what truly breaks down line (sunlight, heat, etc?) and how long should like last either on the reel or in storage before it becomes compromised. Also really curious if the belief that storing in the fridge is truth or myth.
Does anybody else have questions they want me to pose about fluorocarbon, or braid?

Ask them why I break more fish off with Tatsu than I did with INVISX. For real. You don’t have to put it in the video, you can pm me their answer.

Ask them why I have to look like a suburb idiot when I have to "straighten and condition" it every 3 months. Seriously, I got the neighbors worried at night when they see me stretching invisible stuff around my yard and running a bounty towel down it soaked in line conditioner. They be like "What the hell is he doing over there?"

Baby sitting fluoro is a beating. Constantly retying it, stretching it, spraying it, keeping it in a refrigerator?, having to throw it out after six months.
It sure is nice for weightless and very low weight soft plastic presentations, but not worth the trouble for most.

In all honesty I need to fish the Tatsu more but I have had some break when I didn't think it should have. Primarily use invisx.

I went strictly to Sunline because of the break off issues with them.

I went strictly to Sunline because of the break off issues with them. I have began to make the switch as well. I have had some serious break off issues this year with brand new line.

Can you ask them what changed with their formula in the last 12-15 years?
I have a spinning rod spooled with Seagar Red Label that I spooled in 2008. The line is STILL good and that rod has spent time in all kinds of conditions over the years.
Now, I buy the InvisX and it wont last a season. Something changed and I will now be going back to Mono and Vicious for my Flouro needs.

I change mine out every few trips and before a tournament Kind of what I was thinking. I was told long ago that line would be the cheapest thing I would ever buy in fishing - change it often and retie a lot.
