My mom and dad took me to see blazing saddles when I was 13ish. One of the best movies ever made. The sherriff is near,.

One of the Die Hard movies, it came on HBO or something and my dad let me watch it. I called my cat a bastard and that was the end of that. I was probably in 1st or 2nd grade.

First one I remember without having an "adult" with me was a 1970's horror movie Scream and Scream Again.

Porky's. It was the first movie my parents rented after buying a vcr and video camera setup...They bought them at Highland's in Fort Worth (same place they bought our first living room tv with a remote control) and rented the movie at the same place. Not something a 7 year old should have watched, but it was very enlightening and entertaining...Lassie sure looked different than on the ol' black and white reruns.
