Killer the good thing about catering to the Bermuda is your weed killing options are just about endless.
Pack are you getting seed heads in your 419? I have what I think is 419, it's for sure some type of hybrid and I get no seed heads. I have some common patches mixed in and they seed head bad. I have always gotten seed heads if my grass gets stressed or to tall. Even my best grass has seed heads in areas where I haven`t weed eated against the house in a couple of weeks and the grass is easily 5". BTW. I`m going to weed eat in the morning. From what I`ve seen on YT and heard before is the Tif419 will have a seed head, but it will be sterile. Don`t know if I believe the seed is 100% sterile either, because I have grass on the west side of my driveway where none was laid. My lawn was laid in10- 2017 and I had new grass coming up in 2018 where I had blown grass clippings off the driveway and water from my sprinkler system ran off driveway enough to start them growing. I do not believe I have any common in my lawn either just based on the appearance and uniform growth but I`m no expert. I do have some common in some Tif419 that I laid in 2019 on a berm that I put in and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I also don`t think I have any common Bermuda in my lawn because I don`t have any Bermuda that wash`s into my lawn. I have every weed in the book upstream of my lawn BUT Bermuda.

Must be the height. I checked a couple neighborhoods that are new and I know they are 419 and saw lots of seedheads. 419 and all hybrids are 100% sterile. What you have is a classic case of stolons rooting. So you're weed eating runners and they blow/washed to the new area and rooted. Basically the same as sprigging.

My miniature Crepe Myrtles are rocking this year. They had been struggling in years past. Lots of scale, aphids and leaf hoppers. Finally figured out the cure. A soil drench in spring of Imidacloprid made all the difference. They have zero insect pressure now and can put all their energy towards leaf and flower growth. I have like 5 mini's and they are all doing great. I didn't plant these but pretty sure they are Pocomoke.

Planted one 20 years ago at my other place and I was never happy with it. The limbs and trunk never got very big in diameter, and it got plenty of water and the soil was awesome. Planted one when we built 6 years ago and the 2021 freeze hurt it and I need to make a decision this winter to give it another year or take it out. It was actually doing pretty well until the freeze hurt it.

Tried everything short of diesel and they keep coming back Oh easy fix. Make a conscious decision that crepe myrtles are your favorite, and if fact, that you can't have enough of them on your property, and if you are sincere, those three will be dead within a week, never to return no matter what you do..

Also. that's a heck of a drop between you and your neighbors. I think they're the largest I've seen. I wish there was a little more space between our houses and my driveway and the wall.

Havenโt heard but you never know. I havenโt heard any reports of them around here so far this year. If you put out Grubex a few months ago then you are protected from army worms too. It chinch bug season too so be on the lookout for them. They like sunny areas and can kill grass pretty quickly.

Thanks I actually use Grassperson service for the grub treatment every year but so far donโt use them for fertilizing or weed control. Reason I ask is they are sending our e-mails trying to solicit the business for treating.
