We all know they have the deeper field! Each year that goes by it gets closer to equalizing, but the BPT field is the stronger of the two, the gutting of 2018 is still not that long ago.

MLF has done some stupid stuff in their short run, but they have set the gold standard for tv production in bass fishing. Literally everything about their production is leaps and bounds above the competition. From moving cameras around during the day , to actual camera work, to the fact that they don't broadcast dead air, to the way they rotate broadcasters out for break. They way MLF does production makes BASS look like some college kids doing a podcast in their parents garage on an old android phone.

Ducket sucks and MLF constantly drops the ball on rule infractions. Constantly
MLF coverage is vastly superior. I do enjoy the actual studio conversation with Zona, Hite, Ronnie etc. But they cut for lunch and they stop too early. The moving cameras around that MLF does is a no brainer. Then you get into Saturday with BASS and I don’t have cable and even if I did I’m not laying around on the couch. I mean I get that BASS won with national live coverage on TV but that live mix with a couple culls from the week generally sucks.
The idea that one or the other has more superior fisherman than the other is goofy. Take the top 25% of those two fields and go head to head and there is not clear winner. Both have great anglers. Anyone that doesn’t know who Connel or Ebare are, are not fans of the sport.
