I don’t know anything about planes but I dam sure dig that bluegrass environment right there. Grew up with that and I’m only mid 40s

It’s funny how everyone from Oklahomo loves Oklahomo so much they move and live in Texas.

It is awesome the people you meet. Just walk around the park and there are groups of people "Hey c'mon in here, pull up a chair and start pickin'"

There is another big meet there in October. Meanwhile, next month one in Texarkana, one in Grapeland.

when I got discharged my dad was dating the owner of "streakers" club, 39th and meridian Okiecity and she hired me on as doorman/bouncer. full strip club, no pasties. to get in you had to be a member or pay 1.00 and become a member (lifetime lol) then you could bring your bottle and we sold the mixers, a coke was 3.00 in 1974.

good times were had on that job. nuts

While not a beautiful place, the little Saharas is interesting. Love the sand buggy races.

Gotta admit, I don’t know what he was talking about lol. If he meant the drive on the Indian Nation Turnpike, I suppose it is fairly scenic but I can’t ever concentrate on the scenery for worrying about blowing a tire out on that horrible road. The best thing on the stretch from Tulsa to Paris is Brannans Bass Shop.

Concur. Example: Highway 7 in Arkansas is not too far away. And since when are there tolls on I-35 before you hit Kansas? There is a lack of rest stops on I-35 in OK though.

He wasn’t talking about 35, the other route up 75.

I'm not talking about the most scenic drives here. I'm talking about you wouldn't mind throwing a stake down.
