Love my CZ-75B but it did "fail" once when the wife was target shooting and hit the magazine release button thinking it was the safety - magazine hit ground, spring came loose, bullets everywhere. She not only had trouble hitting the target, she managed to disarm herself as well. Would love to have one!

I don't care for Glock because I can't shoot them accurately.
Oddly enough, my Taurus 24/7 that I bought 15-ish years ago has had thousands of rounds through it without an issue. Ergonomics and trigger are both far superior to any glock I've shot and the reliability is the same for me.
My favorite pistol is my Colt 1911. I'm more accurate with it than anything else.
I can't think of any brands I absolutely wouldn't buy. I've had good luck with most of my guns. My Kel Tec struggled when I first got it. One trip to them and it was working great and has been ever since.

Glocks are reliable and accurate. But for me the ergonomics are untenable (and that will vary from person to person), and that mile wide front sight makes precise aiming an exercise in futility. If I buy a handgun that I need to change the sights on, it'll be a 1911 or a 2011.

I'll try once more.
I had a bad experience with a Walther pistol. I won't buy from them.
WHAT COMPANY/MANUFACTURER IS OFF YOUR RADAR? WHICH COMPANY WILL NOT GET YOUR BUSINESS?
...? If you even mention the word Gloc$, the Gloc% nuts will come screaming and ranting. I don't know why they feel that they MUST defend their beloved piece, even if it isn't really being attacked. Taurus is one that I would never buy again. Not so much a single incidence of as issue, just have owned a few, and the quality was lacking on all of them.

My Glock 19 and 17 are sexy. I don’t care what anyone says. Now, that is a Gat. Nice. Why don't you sell me a nice Lever action .357/.38 in Stainless steel? Henry wants a bunch for em.

It's a bit on the hefty side being all steel, but easily the most accurate hand gun I have fired.

I bought a used Taurus G2C, and it rocks!
Companies that won't get my money.
Walther Glock Kimber
I'm sure every one of these companies makes good firearms, but I don't like them.

Taurus used to put out some junk.
I recently bought the Taurus TX22 which is a 22lr. It runs like a sewing machine. Typically rimfire pistols suck, this one does not. Very cheap to shoot. Great for training. Seemingly very reliable. So much fun to shoot.

Y'all bagging on Walther. Put this in your pipe and smoke it: ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/04/full-2481-179257-1681173620208531061188793650821.jpg) 1938 design by Walther. Built in 1943 by Mauser. Taken off dead Kraut. Cycles great without any FTF or FTE. Now that's good engineering.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

I've seen some Taurus' (Tauri?) that were decent. They started out doing S&W knockoffs, and Beretta knockoffs, but moved on. Some of their later stuff is okay.

I won't buy another ruger semi auto to carry, had the p90 (.45) I bought from an edmond leo.
way to heavy for good cc, shot good but too heavy. My house gun is a P89DC in stainless. It is reliable, indestructible, and if 15 rounds of 9mm don’t do the job two ponds of SS makes a good club. The DC set up means no fumbling with safety.
