Somerville Steak house in Somerville Texas
Huge big T Bones, Looks like a dive! Steaks are great! Yessir, am sure I put on a few pounds there myself back in 1980 when workin' as a mud engineer for Maverick Mud one of Clayton Williams' interprises. Never was there when it occurred but was told Clayton often landed his helicopter there to eat in between checkin' his drillin' rigs. They were the biggest best steaks ever. I think they killed 'em right out back and slapped 'em on the fire. Is it still there? Believe it was the Country Inn Steakhouse.

One of the Zentners closed? That sucks!
Though I'd have to say, Twin Mountains was MUCH better, and as good as the Zentners Tenders were, I Thought they were a pale imitation of the Twin Mountains Scraps.

If you guys are fishing Sam Rayburn on the south end, off of HWY 255. Next to the gas station called Piney Point there is a little restraunt called the Stump, on Saturday nights they have their have ribeye steak night, and it's probably one of the best steaks I have ever had, and be the way there is one of those Old Country Inn's in Brenham Texas to, it's on the loop near HWY 290
