Wow!!! You folks are sure hard on the guy. I absolutely understand what he's getting at in his rant. Been bass fishing for 60 years and much of what he says resonates deeply with me. That being said, I have the latest version of Live Scope on my boat and am fascinated with the technology. I have zero interest in pursuing the open water shad chasers but it does help me eliminate structure and areas that don't contain fish. I believe it can be a great learning tool about bass habits and am constantly amazed at the number of fish I see. So far the most enjoyment I've had with it is watching crappie come up and grab a road runner or jig on the scope.
