I know that this might be a long shot but the wife and I have a trip to Biloxi planned in early August. I would like to hire a guide for some bay fishing. I would much rather hire a guide that comes recommended rather than just look online and hire the first one that pops up. Does anyone have any guide recommendations for this area?

The best fishing is west of Biloxi. I have fished the Biloxi area in my boat and with a guide on a few occasions. If I were going back , I would look to
book someone out of Pass Christian , Bay St Louise or Slidell. What are you wanting to target ? The redfishing in Mississippi Sound can be
great if you can find them. Trout fishing is much better back west in the marsh. It would be a long boat ride from Biloxi to the marsh.

The Captain I used never started guiding again after Katrina .

I have not used the following , but I saved the link after seeing some positive reviews on this forum
https://www.shorethingcharters.com/docks/

hope this helps

If you're just looking to get out, then like Mo said look for someone a little west of Biloxi. If you are serious into trying to catch fish and don't mind a little drive, I would look at the Shell Beach/Hopedale area in Louisiana. The drive is under 2 hours and to me it would be worth it. In fact, I drive 8 1/2 hours from Collin County a few times a year to fish that area. I grew up fishing down there.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't mind a little drive so if you have recommendations I'd like to hear it.
