Are Champions known for breakaway transoms? Just a lot more of them still on the water being used and they probably don’t like all that extra weight back there hanging off of them. Nobody spends the time to have the transom bolts resealed and then water gets in and does bad stuff. If that boats a 210, I’m glad I didn’t buy it, because I was thinking about buying one that looked just like it (minus the talons).

That one looks like it fell off going down the highway. The same thing happened to my friend's BassCat but his motor broke off when he hit a stump at the swivel brackets like the last one we saw. It was holding onto the transom just by the steering cables as they got towed back to ramp. They got the boat in the trailer then as they pulled the boat forward the motor was dragging on the ramp. It took 5 of them to lift the 225 Merc up onto the back deck of his cat.
