I grew up in Tampa Fla. and they have a tarpon round up every year and ive seen this happen 2 times never that big of a hammerhead thats pretty cool The tarpons are what's keeping "old hitler" around the Skyway Bridge.

I don't know what type of Hammerheads you guys have over there.......but here in Oz they are classed as a man-eater!

Even so, Hammerheads are listed right up there with the Great White and the Bull sharks as being dangerous to humans. I go along with the idea that I would not want to test that theory.

hammer heads dont attack humans. i think there has been 1 attack in the last 50 years You fall in there with that fish already geeked up and with tarpon guts flowin all over, you're taking your life in your hands, don't care what kinda shark that is..Plus hammerheads school. He could have a buncha buddies comin in quick.  Wouldn't risk it myself, just by looking at the size of that shark should be enough to make me think,"I probably shouldn't be to close to the water"
