Met a fellow the other day on business appointment and inquired about a old unique looking boat he had in his back yard.. Found out it was a 1958 Whitehouse.. Never heard of them myself... its been sitting for a long, long time. Got on line and tried to find out anything I could.. seems it was built in Fort Worth. Sure looked like it would have been a p magnet in its day, especially with the bat wings. roflmao Anyway... he has title to all, 2nd owner and was planning on fixing it up and never got around to it.. Comes with an electric start Evenrude that came with when bought new by original owner... ski/pleasure boat. Needs to have the moss washed off but it looked good to me. He mentioned that the curved windshield was no good and its gone. Suggested he should clean it up and sell it .... he agreed. I thought of what SteeZ could do to the upholstery... anyway just hate seeing an old boat waste away if someone had known it could be saved... if anyone is interested I'll pm contact info here in Jacksonville. Pics in a little bit.

That boat and motor will generate more swearing and cursing for its new owner than marrying all y’alls ex wives at the same time.

those can be fun projects.

I bought a 1957 bellboy 16' with the original 57 evinrude 35hp in colorado, ran good after some minor maintenance.

single layer hull, if the sun was behind it you could see thru it.

made in bellingham wa. and was an awesome lil fishing boat.

cheap to fix up too.

exactly like this one

I will offer to store your square stern canoe and Honda outboard in my garage while you work on your new boat project in your garage.

I'm not touching another fixer upper roflmao... thought some of you might know what it would be worth so I could tell him how much he should try to sell it for.
